Casting Cookies Upon the Water

My children are now convinced that we only make and give away Christmas Goody plates as an enticement to get plates back from people. Every knock at our door the last two days has been a friend or neighbor bearing some new sweet delectable something. Delicious homemade raisin bread, white chocolate fudge, peppermint bark, succulent handmade caramels, frosted sugar cookies, gourmet fruit baskets it just goes on and on. We feel very loved. (And are getting the love handles to prove it!)
