After three nights of flaky tooth fairy service, Emma was pleased to awaken and find the following letter on her nightstand. Tooth fairy service just isn't what it used to be...
Dear Emma,
It has come to our attention that you have received unsatisfactory Tooth Fairy service regarding the loss of your lower left cuspid.
We here at Tooth Fairy Quality Control are very sorry to hear this. We strive to provide excellent customer service. We want to assure you that Tooth Fairy #25746 has been sacked with no chance of re-hire.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay you have experienced in receiving remuneration for your tooth. It is a fine tooth with no dental carries and will be a most valuable addition to our operations here in Tooth Fairy Land.
To compensate you for your time, and in an effort to keep you as a valued customer, please note that you will be given $1 per night you have patiently requested Tooth Fairy services for this tooth.
We look forward to the opportunity to be of ongoing assistance and hope you will continue to consider using Tooth Fairy services for all your future deciduous tooth disposal needs.
Sincerely,
Clyde Snodgrass
Supervisor, Tooth Fairy Customer Relations

Love it! Is there anyway you guys might move to Texas for your next duty station? As we drove past the entrance to your neighborhood yesterday after church, Amberly mentioned again how much she misses the Westhoffs. Who can blame her when she spent at least half of her formative years as your 7th Child?
Officially my favorite blog post of the week (perhaps month and year too)! Lucky for us all that people like you and John have many wonderful kids!
This is wonderful! I'm going to have to think of places to repost it because it deserves a wider audience!
This is great! Do I have permission to print this out and use it for my kids? I'm afraid the tooth fairy has been a little lax at our house as well!
Wow! You guys have a very thoughtful toothfairy out that way. I love it.
